 Cody and I have been recently called as Sunbeam teachers! Today was our first week as Brother and Sister Barker. It was fun and a tad bit uhhh WILD. We had a class full of 3 and 4 year olds that were just bouncing all around and punching Codys balls while I had about three kids on my lap! This little girl in our class kept pointing at Cody and saying "Tangled Tangled!" he kept looking over at me saying "What the heck I don't have blonde hair you do!" Then we realized... if you guys have seen the movie the Princes name was Flyn Rider and thats exactly who she thought Cody was! We laughed and laughed the whole day with these kids. Something Cody calls people is a Dewey and somehow he unleashed that word in front of a bunch of three and four year olds which means silly, dummy or just stupid. All the kids burst out laughing and start calling each other Dewey and even calling us Dewey's! You have to just imagine these tiny little creatures with high pitched voices calling everyone Dewey's. We tried ending that real quick before they went home to their families calling everyone a Dewey haha. Once the kids left you could say Cody and I were a bit relived and then Cody looks over at me and says were never having kids now! haha This class will take time but I'm sure we will end up loving this class here shortly. Just so you know Cody still wants 12 kids!!!
