1. Lay out
2. Ride bikes
3. kayak to Rum Point
4. Eat food
REPEAT
Number three on our schedule was our favorite thing to do because there was people, and where we where staying there was no one around . Rum Point was kind of a touristy place and had good food and drinks and it was in kayak distance so we usually ended up there most of our days. So one of our days there we hear a bunch of people talking about this stupid dolphin that would come into the shore . Cody and I had to see if the rumor was true so we went out on the pier and there was the beautiful dolphin, which led us to asking a guy to take a picture of us on this day. After he left Cody tried telling me that he thought the guy was a missionary . We later bumped into the same guy again that day and asked if he was a missionary. He laughed and told Cody and I he was a missionary indeed. We got to talking and Cody and I went on SPLITS with the missionaries on our honeymoon! ahh hilarious ! Like seriously who does that?!
We went to this house they needed to visit with a family of five. Two parents and three girls. The parents recently got baptized in the church and the oldest kid was of age but wasn't sure if she wanted to be apart of that church yet. Cody and I shared our testimonies with them and the parents loved hearing it and the girls loved me because me hair was blonde! Sounds silly but they usually don't see blondes in the Cayman Islands . All the girls asked if I was friends with barbie and I replied yes just so I could see the look on their faces. haha I explained to the oldest girl why we get baptized and the importance to be a member of a church and why we believe in a God. I could see the wheels turning in her head as she was putting the pieces together and could see a little bit more peace in her eyes.
To make this long story short and not to mushy gooshy. A few months later after we left the Cayman Islands I get a email from the missionaries in this pic, telling me the oldest EVE was baptized and was baptized because of MY influence! And that touched my heart and broke me down into tears ! I have never been am influence in someones life that heavy! I have to tell a little about this picture so heres Eve with her sweet family . The light blue arrow pointing to is her dad who was able to baptize her , and the Cayman Islands is always beautiful and of course the day she gets baptized #3 arrow at the top pointing to the amazing rainbow that appeared that same day! I feel so lucky that Cody and I where able to be apart of this sweet girls life and help her make a big decision in her life.
